A busy day here at Duck HQ and whilst we don’t have any Info bets, there are a couple of horses that caught our eye at Salisbury.
1:35 Salisbury - STAKE ACCLAIM (4/1) - WIN - A cracking 5 furlong handicap for the veterans and this could prove to be a match race between STAKE ACCLAIM and DARK SHOT who certainly set the standard as far as sectional times and speed figures are concerned. Our only slight worry here would be if the ground comes up faster than the official going description of soft. However, providing the BHA have it right, we think STAKE ACCLAIM will have a fantastic chance of winning.
2:45 Salisbury - DASHING ROGER (6/1) - EW - As with our first race, we narrowed this field down to two (DASHING ROGER + OUZO) and in the end it was DASHING ROGER who made the cut largely because we think he will get a race run to suit here. Our hope is that Marco will sit 2nd or 3rd in the run and make the best of his way home. On speed figures and ratings, plenty in here have something to prove on soft ground but that certainly isn’t the case with our selection.
We have some good meetings this evening at Bath and Kempton, so if time allows we will cover some of the races there as well in another blog post.
Good luck with your bets today! 🦆
