Today’s Best Bets (09/07).

Things as have been a little manic here at Duck HQ as we have been at the sales for the last couple of days looking to buy some new horses. We have some cracking racing today and the tips are below.

1:50 Newmarket - KING OF CLUBS (11/2) - EW - We have had a decent word for this horse today and whilst we certainly respect the chances of both PETER THE GREAT and KING FRANKEL, we are very hopeful that KING OF CLUBS will go close.

2:40 Ascot - GARDEN PARADISE (9/4) - WIN - There is no doubt that GWENHWYVAR sets a decent standard but we think she is worth taking on. We were all impressed by GARDEN’S last run and the speed figure she recorded that day makes her the horse to beat here.

3:25 Ascot - WITHOUT REVENGE (7/4) - WIN - The connections of this horse are very bullish about his chances today and they see PASSION AND GLORY as the only danger. We would advise playing the win single, as well as the combination forecast with the second horse.

3:50 York - CARTER COWBOY (6/1) - EW - This horse certainly has plenty of talent and if he were to return to the form of his Beverley run then he’ll win this pretty comfortably. The ground will certainly be in his favour.

4:35 Ascot - FFION (9/4) - WIN - This should be a home run hit for Laura. She’s very talented from the front and this horse should get a soft lead which could prove to be deadly. She’s miles clear of this field on our ratings and whilst taking on male horses is never easy for a filly, she should win.

5:30 York - OUTRUN THE STORM (7/1) - EW - This horse went into my notebook after his last run at Thirsk. He will have come on plenty for that and I think he’ll go very close this evening.

Thats it for the afternoon meetings. We do have a couple of info horses this evening but we will see how these bets get on before posting anything else.

Good luck! 🦆
