A good start to the month so far so hopefully we can continue it today. Truth be told, there isn’t a lot catching our eye on today’s cards so it will just be the two bets below. We are advising win singles and the win double.
6:38 Haydock - STRONGBOWE (7/4) - WIN - In my mind, the horse remains at the top of his game and I don’t envisage the 2lb rise being enough to stop him winning today especially as there’s plenty of pace forecast. The jockey got it wrong the last day as he held on to him for far too long. Providing he doesn’t make the same mistake again, this horse should win easily.
8:25 Beverley - RHEBUS ROAD (7/5) - WIN - There is no doubt that this horse is a tricky customer but this is an awful race. He should get an uncontested lead under Laura and with the visor fitted he should sustain his finishing effort better than last time. He’s in the sales next week and I’m sure his connections will want to send him there as a winner.
